David, thank you for your kind words. Going through this process has forced me to examine my teaching and our school's environment. We are a school with a 100% subgroup of ELs and more subgroups within that one. It's my hope that we work toward becoming the Best School in the Universe.

Jacob, data collection is the most challenging for me. We have open-entry classes, students start and end whenever they want. But, I typically have a core group of students that stay with me through the quarter. I think I have to try my best with the students I have. If we move to managed enrollment, I will be the first to volunteer to pilot it!!

Great work Sheila! I think in your position it is even more powerful to show positive steps for learning. Adults have more experiences both bad and good in relation to education. Your example of choice words, eyes up in the hallways and implementing data practices will serve your students well. Thank you for sharing!
